AJA Video Systems était présent au NAB 2015 stand SL2505. Fabricant d'interfaces d'acquisitions et de monitoring, routeurs, convertisseurs, enregistreurs et caméras numériques, AJA a dévoilé ses derniers produits (gamme de convertisseurs FIDO), nouvelles configurations et mises à jour. Pour rappel, CTM Solutions distribue en France la gamme des produits AJA Video :
- AJA dévoile 3 nouveaux modèles, les nouveaux FiDO-4T-ST, FiDO-4R-ST (compatibles 4K) ainsi que le nouveau convertisseur HA5-4K.
- Les FiDO-4T-ST et FiDO-4R-ST offrent la conversion 4 canaux 3G-SDI vers fibre ST et fibre ST vers 3G-SDI permettant ainsi de transporter les signaux 4K - Ultra HD sur des distances maximales de 10 km.
- Le modèle HA5-4K offre une une conversion simple et performante des signaux Ultra HD / HD HDMI vers SDI avec conversion du signal vers 4 x 3G-SDI.
- D'autre part, AJA offre désormais les choix fibre CWDM (Course Wavelength Division Multiplexing), autorisant le transport de plusieurs canaux de 3G-SDI sur une simple liaison fibre. L'avantage de CWDM, c'est qu'il dispose de 9 paires de longueurs d'ondes, ce qui permet de multiplexer jusqu'à 18 signaux 3G-SDI pour transmission sur un seul câble. Les modules CWDM s'installent directement dans les slots AJA SFP. AJA étend la technologie CWDM dans les convertisseurs FiDO avec l'introduction du FiDO-2T-CWDM. Les Synchroniseurs d'images FS1-X et FS2 acceptent également les double transmetteurs CWDM, configurables dans les slots existants SFP, comme options à la commande.

The newly announced FiDO-4T-ST and FiDO-4R-ST enable quad-channel SDI to ST Fiber and ST Fiber to SDI, enabling Fiber transmission of 4K and UltraHD signals, and HA5-4K converts UltraHD/HD HDMI to 4x 3G-SDI.

AJA is also now offering CWDM (Course Wavelength Division Multiplexing) Fiber choices, allowing multiple channels of 3G-SDI to be carried on a single Fiber. The advantage of CWDM is that there are nine pairs of wavelengths, so up to 18x 3G SDI signals can be muxed for transmission across one Fiber cable, extending flexibility in the field for running long video signal paths. The CWDM modules plug into AJA's existing SFP cages.
AJA extends the CWDM technology into our FiDO stand-alone Fiber offerings with the introduction of the FiDO-2T-CWDM. AJA's FS1-X and FS2 Frame Synchronizers can also now accept a full complement of CWDM Dual Transmitters, configurable in existing SFP cages, as options at time of order.

- New 3G-AM and 3G-AMA Mini-Converters :
Two new AJA Mini-Converters are now available.
The 3G-AM is an 8-channel AES audio Embedder/Disembedder and the 3G-AMA is a 4-channel analog audio Embedder/Disembedder. Both support 3G-SDI input and output up to 1080p-60 and are priced at $795 US MSRP each.
An updated version of MiniConfig is also now available, adding support for the two new Mini-Converters as well as updates to other supported Mini-Converters.

- Ki Pro Rack v5.0 Firmware Release :
Ki Pro Rack v5.0 firmware is now available. This update adds the much-anticipated rollover recording functionality, allowing a recording to start on one media module and seamlessly continue onto the second module once the first has reached capacity.
