Le sous-système RAID Promise VTrak E-Class offre un niveau remarquable de performances, de fiabilité et de capacité d’extension pour les applications vidéo et serveur. Les sous-systèmes RAID Promise VTrak E-Class offrent à l’utilisateur des configurations flexibles, y compris l’utilisation de plusieurs niveaux RAID et de groupes de stockage dans l’unité de base et le châssis d’extension. Module de disque 2 To Serial ATA. Les disques durs Serial ATA allient faible coût et hautes performances. Ils permettent une connectivité point-à-point qui garantit l’isolation électrique des disques entre eux. De plus, en cas d’utilisation de plusieurs disques, ceux-ci ne sont pas en concurrence pour se partager la bande passante. Les disques disposent de 32 Mo de mémoire cache, offrent une vitesse de rotation de 7 200 tr/min et utilisent un protocole qui autorise un transfert rapide des données en direction et en provenance du disque dur, avec 3 gigabits de données par seconde.
