P2 Card Format Station
P2Card Format Station enables users to perform format, update firmware,
and error check the P2 Card through PCMCIA card drive on the PC or P2
Drive AJ-PCD10/PCD20.
- Functions
- 1. Simple error check of P2 Card
- 2. Confirmation of firmware version and update to latest firmware version when the original is old
- 3. Format of P2 Card
- NOTICE:To "Simple Checker" software users
- Do not use previously introduced “Simple
Checker” software to check the P2 cards which were version up by this
“P2 Card Format Station” software.
- An error message will appear with
“Simple Checker” even if there is no error in the P2 card. (This is due
to difference of the checking method.)
- Use the simple check function of the “P2 Format Station” software for this purpose.
Please keep the extra copy the data in your P2 card.

for managing Type-S hard disks, on which P2 card data is copied.
View the status of Type-S hard disks
You can check the status of partitions on Type-S hard disks, including
mount points, information about the source P2 cards, copy status, and so
on.
Specify mount points for Type-S hard disks
You can change the mount points when Type-S hard disks are connected to
a Windows computer (that is, the points assigned for hard disk access).
Verify your PC OS. This application is Not supported with Mac.

• “Type-S" hard disks contain data copied via USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394 from
P2 cards in P2 devices that can operate in USB or IEEE 1394 host mode.
To determine whether your P2 device can be used to create Type-S hard disks,
refer to the operating instructions of the P2 device.
• Use Type-S hard disks that are connected via USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394.

CAC File for P2 Camera-Recorder
The CAC function of the camera corrects the
registration error caused by the slight chromatic aberration that the
lens cannot compensate for.
This minimizes color bleeding into the surrounding image areas.
Lenses compatible with the CAC function whose CAC data is registered in
the camera will automatically start CAC operation.
