Pro Tools 10 Details

• To use Pro Tools 10-10.3 with Interplay, the Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-In version 2.5 or higher must be installed on the Pro Tools client.
• Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-In version 2.5 and Pro Tools 10-10.x can be used with the following
  • Interplay Access version 2.3 and higher
  • Interplay Engine version 2.3 and higher
• To use Send to Playback with Interplay Web Services and Interplay Transfer, install the Pro Tools Send to Playback plug-in version 2.5
• Send to Playback users should use the following:
  • Avid Service Framework 1.3
  • Interplay Transfer 2.4
  • Interplay Web Services 2.2 or higher

Pro Tools Interplay Integration Version Auto-Detection
The Pro Tools Interplay Integration plug-in version 2.5 will auto-detect your version of Pro Tools and install the correct version of the Pro Tools Interplay Integration plug-in. The following versions will be installed:
 

Interplay Production 2.5 Installer Issue
An issue exists with the Mac Pro Tools Integration plug-in on the Interplay Production 2.5 installer. The installer does not install all of the required files to the correct locations. If used with Interplay Access 2.5, users will not experience any problems. If used with Interplay Access 2.4 or previous, Pro Tools users will see a message at launch that the Pro Tools Interplay Plug-in is not available. The correct 2.5 plug-in installer can be downloaded from this page. This issue does not affect the Windows Pro Tools Integration plug-in or the Mac or Windows Pro Tools Send to Playback plug-ins on the Interplay Production 2.5 installer.

Pro Tools 9 Details
Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-In Requirements

• To use Pro Tools 9.0.4 or higher on Mac with Interplay, the Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-in version 2.5f7 must be installed on the Pro Tools client. Plug-in version 2.5f7 for Mac resolves an issue where the wrong version of the plug-in was installed when Pro Tools 9.0.4 – 9.0.6 (and any potential future 9.0.x versions) were detected.
• To use Pro Tools 9.0.2 or 9.0.3 with Interplay, the Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-In version 2.4 (Windows) or 2.4.1 (Mac) or higher must be installed on the Pro Tools client. Plug-in version 2.4.1 for Mac resolves a folder permission issue where after installation, sequences could not be imported from Interplay Access.
• To use Pro Tools 9.0 or 9.0.1 with Interplay, the Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-In version 2.3 or higher must be installed on the Pro Tools client.
• Pro Tools Interplay Integration Plug-In version 2.4 and 2.3 can be used with the following:
  • Interplay Access version 2.0 and higher
  • Interplay engine version 1.6.4 and higher

Pro Tools 8 Details
* When installing the Interplay 1.5 – 1.6.2 Pro Tools Integration plug-in with Pro Tools 8.0.1, you must install using the special Interplay 1.6.2 Pro Tools Integration installer which can be downloaded below, rather than installing from the Interplay client disc. This installer can be used in an Interplay 1,5, 1.6, 1.6.1, or 1.6.2 environment.

** To use Pro Tools 8 with Interplay v1.2.4 - 1.4.2 on Windows XP, you must install the Pro Tools Interplay Option using the "Interplay Option Installer for Pro Tools 8 with Interplay v1.2.4 - 1.4.2 (Windows XP)" available for download here:

Pro Tools Interplay Technical Requirements
The following are required to use Pro Tools with Avid Interplay:

• Pro Tools|HD system with the Pro Tools software versions listed above
• Pro Tools Interplay Option (purchased separately for the Interplay server)
• Avid Unity MediaNetwork or ISIS client installed (purchased separately)
• Direct connection to an Avid Unity MediaNetwork or ISIS system
• Interplay Access installed on the Pro Tools system
• (Optional) Pro Tools Send to Playback plug-in with Interplay Web Services and Interplay Transfer (requires Pro Tools 10)

Media Composer Video Satellite
Media Composer-based Video Satellite is qualified with Interplay to the same extent that Media Composer without Video Satellite is qualified. See the Read Me for your version of Media Composer to determine which versions of Interplay are supported:
