L'équipe CTM a le plaisir de vous annoncer la disponibilité de la nouvelle version Release Avid Airspeed 5000 (V2.1), avec notamment quelques correctifs importants et nouveautés : 2 Channel Configurations / Mac Media Composer Support in Team Configuration / Multi-ISIS Support / Corection Playlistes / FTP File Based Workflow Enhancements / Support for DNxHD 85/100 Avec des capacités optimisées d'automation de l'acquisition et de la diffusion avec les outils de montage Avid et tiers, AirSpeed 5000 2.1 est désormais disponible dans des versions HD à deux canaux plus économiques, ainsi qu'avec prise en charge de plusieurs systèmes ISIS et du format Avid DNxHD 85/100. Cette nouvelle mouture du serveur AirSpeed accélère les workflows HD et SD grâce à une acquisition et une diffusion de formats vidéos multiples, tout en offrant un service de contrôle centralisé ainsi qu'un fonctionnement autonome avec des systèmes de montage Avid et tiers pour les environnements de production de news de plus petite taille.

2 Channel Configurations

• ·Two new server configurations are being introduced:

1. 2 channel MPEG-2 HD server
2. 2 channel AVC-Intra server

• ·These configurations allow us to deliver all the features of the 4 channel servers in lower price point configurations to customers with limited budgets and limited channel count needs
• ·Either of the 2 channel servers supports playout of all codecs (SD, DNxHD, MPEG-2 HD, and AVC-Intra)

Mac Media Composer Support in Team Configuration

• ·You can now use Mac Media Composer clients in the Team workflow (NewsVision workflow – AirSpeed 5000, ISIS, Editors, no Interplay)
• ·Team configuration allows up to 10 editor clients (Mac and/or PC) to work in collaborative environment that supports:

1. oCollaborative sharing of media
2. oEdit While Capture
3. oPlay While Transfer
4. oStudio Send to Playback

• ·Requires Mac Media Composer 6.5 or later
• ·Remote Console is not supported on Mac

Multi-ISIS Support

• ·AirSpeed 5000 can now ingest to, and playout from multiple ISIS systems

1. oAllows AirSpeed 5000 to support the new multi-tiered storage workflows being introduced with ISIS 2000

FTP File Based Workflow Enhancements

• ·Several enhancements made to the AirSpeed 5000s FTP capabilities to automate and/or simplify FTP file based workflows
• ·Automatic transfers into Interplay or Team-based workflows – Media that is FTP’d to the AirSpeed 5000 can now be automatically transferred into the production workflow

1. oSpeeds up the workflow and reduces effort required from users

• ·Automatic unique video ID creation – useful when batch transferring clips that may have naming conflicts
• ·Configure transfer behavior related to in/out points – users can choose to transfer from the server the whole original clip or just the media within the in/out points

Other Additions

• ·Support for DNxHD 85/100
• ·Russian and Korean localization
• ·Job Status page in Management Console – allows user to view current transfer and proxy creation jobs on server
