Voici un petit point pour répondre aux questions d'update de versions pour les stations Bi Boot Symphony-DS : Comme vous le savez, la version 10.1.1 est officiellement disponible depuis quelques jours, il s'agit d'une version à installer par dessus la version full DS 10.1 (patch install et non une "full install"). DS v10.1 doit être préalablement installé avant l'update en Avid DS 10.1.1.
Important : Avid Symphony / Avid DS en configuration dual boot ne doit pas être upgradé en DS v10.1. Avid DS 10.1 n'est en effet pas compatible avec Avid Symphony 3.X. La compatibilité Dual boot (DS & Symphony sur le même CPU) n'est supportée entre DS & Symphony qu'avec DS v10.1.1 et Symphony v3.5 .
Bien sur, le Dual boot, n'est supporté que sur les stations qualifiées avec Avid Nitris (hardware Classique) et non les nouveaux hardware DX (symphony DX) et AJA (pour els nouveaux hardwares DS). Vérifiez donc la compatibilité de votre système auparavent ici.

*Versions earlier than 3.x of Symphony Nitris are not compatible with DS v10 for dual boot configurations.
There is no specific install order required for dual boot compatibility between DS v10.1.1 and Symphony 3.5.
**Customers updating to Avid DS v10.x from versions earlier than 10.0 require a license update. Customers updating to Avid DS v10.1.x from DS v10.0 do not require a new license.
Important Note: Avid DS Assurance customers upgrading to Avid DS v10.x through the Download Center are entitled to receive one Avid Media Composer software license. Avid Media Composer software requires a physical dongle license. Avid Media Composer dongles will be mailed to Avid DS v10.x customers once they have upgraded and requested their DS v10.x license. Please allow 4 weeks from the date of your upgrade and license request for receipt of your Media Composer Software and dongle. Once you receive the Media Composer software and dongle, you are required to register the product at www.avid.com/register. NOTE: DS v10.x customers that have already requested their Avid Media Composer Software and dongle with the DS 10.x upgrade are not entitled to an additional copy with the download of DS 10.1.1
