Avid Product Software Documentation may advise differing Driver and Firmware requirements for ATTO Celerity cards from one Unity MediaNetwork and LANshare release to the next.  Additionally, as Newer Workstations and Operating Systems are being qualified as supported Clients on Unity infrastructures: MN 4.1.x, 4.2.x, 5.0.x, and 5.1.x, those clients may require newer ATTO Celerity drivers and firmware. 

These factors can cause confusion in what Drivers and Firmware are actually needed and recommended by Avid.  Consequently, Avid Systems Engineering is continually testing and qualifying Drivers and Firmware for all of these Unity architectures to improve system stability and performance. These new qualifications are not always updated into the available online product documentation.

The chart below shows the latest Recommended ATTO Celerity Driver and Firmware (FW) versions for specified Platforms and/or Operating Systems for Unity MediaNetwork and Unity LANshare 4.1.x, 4.2.x, and 5.0.x/ 5.1.x configurations.
