Sony a pu y présenter de nombreuses nouveautés. Sony au coeur du NAB
2010 : actualités et nouveaux produits, communiqué à lire :
Les modèles PVM-L1700 et PVM-L3200 font figure de nouveautés au sein de la gamme de moniteurs broadcast. Sorti fin 2009, le PVM-L1700 offre la même qualité d'image supérieure que les autres modèles de sa gamme, et présente une alternative économique au moniteur BVM-L170. Le PVM-L3200 propose aux diffuseurs et aux maisons de post-production une large dalle LCD de 32 pouces, tout en conservant le même niveau de performance et les mêmes spécifications que les autres moniteurs Trimaster. Sony a lancé un nouveau caméscope d’entrée de gamme, le HXR-MC50E. Il est équipé d’une visière pour objectif, d’un microcanon ECM et d’une batterie longue durée. Il dispose d’une optique G Lens 29,8 mm, d’une fonction SteadyShot optimisée et d’un capteur CMOS Exmor R pour une grande sensibilité en faible lumière.
Le constructeur japonais élargit sa gamme de mélangeurs de production avec des nouveaux modèles 3G et 3D Ready. Le MVS-8000X est le dernier né de la gamme référence de la production live. Il propose d’être un élément de transition entre la production haute définition 2D 720p et 1080i, et les besoins croissants en 1080p 3G et 3D. Le DFS-900M est un mélangeur multiformats SD et HD d’entrée de gamme pour le broadcast régional, les productions de petite et moyenne échelle et les applications en environnement institutionnels et éducatifs. Ces deux mélangeurs seront disponibles au printemps et durant l’été 2010.
Autre gamme qui croit chez Sony, la gamme des caméscopes d’épaule XDCAM EX. Deux nouveautés ont été présentées lors du NAB 2010, le PMW-350, un caméscope CMOS Exmor 2/3 pouces à enregistrement sur fichier et une nouvelle version 1/2 pouce, le PMW-320. Les deux appareils profitent de trois capteurs CMOS Exmor Full HD 1920x1080, sont configurables en studio et disposent d’une entrée/sortie timecode, d’une entrée Genlock et des sorties HD-SDI et HDMI. Le PMW-350 propose l’enregistrement et la lecture DVCAM en option, disponible en standard sur le PMW-320. Ils sont disponibles en deux versions : avec ou sans objectif.
Sony a aussi annoncé la commercialisation de son nouveau moniteur pro de terrain à technologie OLED avec la fonction Super Top Emission, ayant pour but de proposer un fort contraste et des images colorées, même dans une pièce très lumineuse. Le moniteur PVM-740 est le premier du genre et affiche une résolution de 960x540 pixels sur 7,4 pouces. Il est idéal pour les images sportives étant donné son temps de réponse ultra rapide. En outre, il peut inverser une image horizontalement ou verticalement sans retarder l’affichage, pratique et utile pour l’acquisition d’image 3D effectuée sur rig 3D avec deux moniteurs 2D. Il dispose d’une connexion directe aux systèmes de caméras et ne nécessite aucun convertisseur de signal externe pour une intégration plus facile. En option, Sony propose le kit VF-510 ENG composé d’une visière, d’une poignée de transport et d’un protecteur de connecteur. Le moniteur Sony PVM-740 sera disponible courant avril.les moniteurs LCD TRIMASTER PVM-L1700 (17 pouces), PVM-L2300 (23 pouces) et PVM-L3200 (32 pouces) équipés d'un moteur d'affichage à double processeur (l'un dédié au désentrelacement et à l'upscaling des sources, le second aux contrôles vidéo et à la gestion des couleurs) et capables de couvrir plusieurs espaces colorimétriques (EBU, ITU-709, SMPTE-C, D-Ciné).
le HXR-MC50E, un caméscope professionnel d'entrée de gamme équipé d'une visière pour objectif, d'un micro-canon ECM, d'une batterie longue durée, d'une optique « G Lens » 29,8 mm, d'une fonction Steadyshot optimisée et d'un capteur CMOS Exmor R procurant une excellente sensibilité en basse lumière.

Deux nouveaux caméscopes XDCAM EX : le PMW-350 (caméscope CMOS Exmor 2/3'' à enregistrement sur fichier) et le PMW-320 (la version ½''). Ces deux caméscopes intègrent trois capteurs CMOS Exmor Full HD 1920x1080, ils sont configurables en studio et proposent une entrée/sortie timecode, une entrée Genlock et des sorties HD-SDI et HDMI. Le PMW-350 propose l'enregistrement et la lecture DVCAM en option, deux avantages fournis en standard sur le PMW-320. Ils sont disponibles en deux versions, avec ou sans objectif (respectivement PMW-350K/PMW-320K, et PMW-350L/PMW-320L). Ils peuvent être livérs avec l'adaptateur MEAD-MS01, qui permet l'utilisation de MemoryStick PRO-HG Duo Sony en tant qu'option d'enregistrement d'« urgence ». Un adaptateur est également disponible pour l'utilisation de cartes SDHC™ (MEAD-SD01).
Quatre nouveaux viseurs pour ses caméras HD professionnelles dont deux viseurs OLED de 7,4 pouces (le HDVF-EL70 pour les caméras de studio et le HDVF-EL75 pour les caméras de poing) et deux viseurs LCD de 5 pouces (le viseur HD HDVF-C550W et le viseur SD DXF-C50W). les nouvelles fonctionnalités de sa caméra robotisée HD BRC-Z330 grâce à l'utilisation d'une unité optique multiplexe HD BRU-SF10. Celle-ci permet une synchronisation externe et la transmission des contrôles caméra et signaux audio via un câble en fibre optique CCFC-S200 sur une distance de 2 000 mètres au maximum. Des cartes optionnelles sont également disponibles en complément.
le premier moniteur portable OLED : le PVM-740. Un moniteur de terrain de 7,4 pouces offrant une résolution de 960 x 540 pixels et embarquant la technologie Super Top Emission assurant un haut niveau de contrastes et des couleurs dynamiques même avec un fort éclairage ambiant.
la nouvelle caméra CineAlta SRW-9000PL intégrant un capteur 35 mm et une monture PL. Cette nouvelle caméra offre une capture d'image Full RVB (sans sous-échantillonnage des couleurs), une vaste plage dynamique (plus de 12 T-stops), une vitesse variable (SR Motion) avec réglage de la vitesse de la caméra, et des fonctions S-Log et HyperGamma. Sony a également développé plusieurs cartes optionnelles offrant des performances accrues et de nouvelles fonctionnalités.
l'introduction de nouvelles technologies capables d'améliorer le workflow du XDCAM HD dont un nouveau système d'archivage appelé "XDCAM archive", un système de production de news "XDNEWS" destiné aux petits et moyens diffuseurs, une nouvelle version de son Professional Disc XDCAM offrant 128 Go de stockage (4 couches), un nouveau lecteur XDCAM et une station d'enregistrement hybride XDCAM dotée d'une mémoire interne, d'un lecteur pour Professional Disc, de slots pour cartes mémoire SxS et d'un panneau de commande de type magnétoscope.

- PVM-740 : 7’’OLED Panel :
The PVM 740 is another leap in Sony imaging technology. Using the new OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology, blacks are black. Contrast is mesmerizing and your picture never looked so good. Incorporating Sony’s “STE” (Super Top Emission) structure, the PVM 740 can display extremely wide gamut colors and repel panel glare so that "on set" or "in the field" viewing is simple and accurate. The PVM 740 also includes other features that make it the favorite for view and framing camera images. The new “Flip” feature can swap the image horizontally, vertically, or combined so that over and under 3D rig viewing is a simple push of a button. The SD/HD/3G input is not an option so even display of HD 60P images is a snap.
